St.Andrew’s Church has been a presence in the Richmond community for approaching 200 years. Over that period the church has been continuously supported by donations from individuals and families in the area, enabling the Church to evolve to meet the changing needs of our community. With continued support we will ensure St.Andrew’s can continue to be a strong presence to serve the people of Richmond and surrounding areas, as well as supporting our mission work both here in Canada and overseas.
There are several ways by which donations can be made in support of the work and programs of the Church. In all cases a charitable donation tax receipt can be issued:
Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)
By signing up for PAR, your monthly donation is made on the 20th of each month.
To sign-up for PAR, or to make changes to your existing PAR contribution, complete the form. The completed form should then be either emailed to PAR@standrewsrichmond.org, or mailed to the Church at P.O.Box 910, Richmond, ON K0A 2Z0, for the attention of the Envelope Secretary.
A brochure describing the PAR program can be found here.
Weekly Numbered Offering Envelopes.
Envelopes are available at the church, please ask and you will be allocated a numbered box.
A convenient way to make a donation in support of the Church is by e-Transfer. Send an email to email@example.com with the donation amount and a passcode, together with any specific instructions as to where you want the donation directed, e.g.
- to General support of the Church (the default)
- to ‘Presbyterians Sharing’
- to a specific program or project you want to support
- to the upkeep of the Presbyterian cemetery in Richmond
- or in memory of someone
To ensure that a tax receipt can be issued for e-Transfers, be sure to include the full name and address of the donor in the email.
